6 large floury potatoes, scrubbed
4 tbsp butter, melted, or extra-virgin olive oil
flaky sea salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F fanbake and line a large oven tray or shallow oven dish with baking paper.
Slice potatoes very thinly, keeping the slices of each potato together.
Flatten out on the prepared tray or dish in overlapping rows, like dominoes.
Alternatively, create individual servings by flattening each potato out into an overlapping circle like flower petals.
Brush or drizzle with melted butter or oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake until golden and crispy (40-50 minutes, depending on thickness).
